Brookhouse Farm Riding School is pleased to announce the re-opening of the City And Guilds Diplomas in Work Based Horse Care and Riding.

This course is a nationally recognised qualification. Students completing and passing the course will possess a knowledge in modules such as:-health & safety in the work place, leading and controlling a horse for inspection, catching and moving horses, grooming and washing, tack and rugs on and off, riding horses in an enclosed area etc. etc. And on completing the course will be able to perform practical skills at industry speed.

Level 2 also includes, 7 mandatory and 10 optional accreditation units including, loading for transportation, lunging under supervision, long reining and the management of grazing land.

Congratulations to our 2016/2017 students, who achieved a 100% pass rate across both the level one and level 2 courses in work based equine care. Well done from everyone here at Brookhouse Farm.

New for 2017 - Technical certificate level 2.

We are delighted to add this new qualification to our range of diplomas here at Brookhouse Farm. This new, countrywide qualification is a highly commendable certification in equine care and management. The course requires the student to develop a portfolio of experience, complete a practical assignment and attend a final exam, all guided through professional tuition, practical demonstrations and tutored lectures.
