| | | | | Brookhouse Farm is a Pony Club Centre. Essentially, the Pony Club Centre scheme was established to allow children who do not have their own ponies, to become members of the Pony Club. The children can take the traditional Pony Club tests as well as Progressive Tests which are specifically designed for Pony Club Centres. These tests enable children and their parents to see how their riding and horse management skills are progressing. | | | Centre members can also take Achievement Badges in a wide variety of topics, some relating to horse knowledge and care and others relating to the wider countryside and native wildlife. | | | At Brookhouse we have seen children be successful in Bronze Levels 3 and 2 riding test, Points of the House badge and Saddlery badge. During 2007 we shall be giving children the opportunity to take these badges if they have not yet done so and taking more badges and further riding tests. The next badge we shall be working for is the Feed Badge. | | | We have many plans for 2009: | | - Senior Pony Club (for ages 14 and over)
- Pony Club Badges
- Bronze Riding Tests Levels 3, 2 and 1
- Silver Riding Tests Level 3
- Competition League in Mounted Games
- Competition League in Dressage
- Quiz Evening
